MOULTON, Ala. — A special-needs scholar had a one-of-a-kind promenade date when an NFL participant returned to his residence county in Alabama to take her to the dance.
He instructed WBRC-TV (Birmingham) it was a “blessing” to go to the promenade Friday evening with 18-year-old Lindsey Preston, who has Down syndrome.
Jones is a household pal. His mom taught Preston in elementary faculty.
Preston’s mom, Kristi Martin, instructed The Related Press that Jones danced with all the scholars and “made everyone really feel particular.”
