Former Oklahoma Sooners CB Parrish Cobb sentenced to 18 years in prison for robbery


Parrish Cobb, who performed cornerback at Oklahoma in 2016, was sentenced to 18 years in jail Monday, the Waco (Texas) Tribune-Herald reported.

Cobb, 20, pleaded responsible to aggravated theft within the holdup of a Baylor scholar at gunpoint. Prosecutors dismissed two different armed theft prices Cobb confronted as a part of a plea discount, although one other stays pending, based on the Tribune-Herald.

Cobb began two video games for the Sooners as a freshman earlier than struggling a hamstring harm. He appeared in 4 video games complete.

Cobb was arrested in January 2017 in his hometown of Waco. Whereas free on bond, he was arrested three months later in Norman, Oklahoma, on a number of counts of armed theft. These prices stay pending towards him.
