Deshaun Watson of Houston Texans on track for training camp

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, who’s recovering from a torn ACL in his proper knee, is “on schedule” to be in coaching camp in July, coach Invoice O’Brien mentioned Monday.

“He’s doing a good job in his rehab,” O’Brien informed NFL Community’s “Good Morning Football.” “I think he’s on schedule to be able to participate in training camp. We’re excited about that.”

In March, O’Brien informed reporters that Watson was “ahead of schedule, but there’s still a lot of work.”

Watson tore his ACL in apply in November. He mentioned final month that he was taking it someday at a time and did not know to what extent he would be capable to take part within the crew’s offseason coaching program.
