Each week I’ll preview the five most important games from a Vegas total perspective and how to attack each game in DFS. I’ll highlight which players are the most stackable, who are recommended cash and GPP plays, and who looks like they should be faded. Listen and subscribe to the Fantasy Footballers’ DFS Podcast as we analyze these games for the main slate every Friday.

Week 2 Review
  • Falcons @ CowboysOver, 79 total points – This game did not disappoint. Kyle, Ben Cummins and I on the podcast were all over this game as a stack with several options in play. Hopefully you built your lineups around this contest.
  • Ravens @ TexansUnder, 49 total points – The Ravens held up their end of the bargain, scoring more than their implied point total, but the Texans weren’t able to keep up. The loss of DeAndre Hopkins is certainly felt after two weeks, and maybe we’re in a position where expectations for Deshaun Watson and company need to be tempered until we see otherwise.
  • Lions @ PackersOver, 63 total points – One of our best calls on the podcast in Week 2 was Aaron Jones as a leverage play off of the Davante Adams chalk. We were all over the Packers in this matchup, but Davante Adams’ injury needs to be monitored closely as we look towards Week 3.
  • Chiefs @ Chargers: Under, 43 total points – No one saw the injury from Tyrod Taylor coming, which resulted in Justin Herbert getting the start. The Chargers gashed the Chiefs on the ground, which limited the upside of the receiving options. Hats off to the LA defense, who for the most part, kept Patrick Mahomes in check.
  • Panthers @ Buccaneers: Under, 48 total points – This game barely missed the Vegas line of 49 points. Chris Godwin (concussion) didn’t play, and Christian McCaffrey picked up a high ankle sprain, which certainly affected this matchup late. However, the biggest takeaway and miss was relying on Ronald Jones in cash lineups. After RoJo fumbled, Leonard Fournette stole the show.
Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks, O/U: 55.5

The Cowboys find themselves once again in the highest over/under on the board as they travel to Seattle to take on MVP candidate, Russell Wilson, and the Seahawks. To this point, both offenses have been explosive and have found a way to put up points in bunches. The Cowboys just hung 40 points on the Falcons while the Seahawks just put up 35 against the Patriots. This game certainly has shootout appeal given the firepower on both offenses, but it’s the defenses that get my excited about attacking this game in DFS.
